CLO Signal: She noticed when it stopped (9.10)
Cielo Studio is a digital wellness studio in Atlanta. We build tools, guides, and practices for people who want an intentional relationship with technology instead of an automatic one.
Studio Notes is the weekly record of what we made, what we learned, and what is currently open. Short by design.
On camera

Meet Crystal A. Chubbs, Owner of Circuit + Soil went live this week where Jessica Wise from Audacity Magazine and Events interviewed our founder.
In this Audacious Interview, we talk technology, AI, wellness, and the importance of keeping Black and rural communities in the room when decisions around these topics are being made.
The studio talks about technology and well being as one subject rather than two competing ones. This conversation is the clearest version of that argument on record so far, and the first in this format.
From the desk
Two pieces of long form published under Between Code & Conscience, the studio founder's publication on technology and the rooms where it gets built.
The Room Has Failed — a six-part series arguing that unrepresentative rooms ship weaker products. It closed this month with a field report on a room that got it right. The series ships with a one-page diagnostic anyone can run on a team, a cohort, or a board.
Blood, Sweat, and Tears — the first entry in a monthly founder's journal. What building this costs and what it gives, recorded as it happens rather than in retrospect.
In practice
A note from a recent cycle participant, shared with permission: she only recognized how grounding the daily practice was once the cycle ended, because she could feel its absence.
That is the argument for structure. Not that a practice feels transformative while you are inside it, but that its absence becomes obvious when it stops.
One door, open now

The Catalyst Game runs its Gamma cycle October 10 through November 9. Thirty days, asynchronous, new moon to new moon. It is a structured container for clearing what is in the way so you can hear your own signal and act on what is yours.
Registration closes September 25.
